Affirmation Technique

– Make yourself comfortable on your bed.
– Take a few deep breaths and relax on the exhale.
– Mentally motivate yourself by thinking of a goal (e.g. meeting a deceased loved one, or taking on a simple goal as mentioned in the previous chapter).
– As soon as you begin to doze off, start mentally reciting the affirmation.
– Repeat it slowly and continuously until you reach the vibration stage or until you fall asleep.
– Leave your body.
Motion-based techniques
Motion-based techniques offer a fun way to induce an OBE by imagining a movement and trying to feel it.
You do not need to visualize; it won’t hinder the exercise in any way.
You simply need to really feel the movement without actually moving.
This is a very effective technique because it can induce dissociation. You just have to do it until you fall asleep
